* This is the latest commission structure which took effect in October 2012, and is accurate as of writing in April 2013. This supercedes the previous commission structure back in January 2012 last year, and only applies to Cosway Farmasi Stores in Malaysia.

You may be wondering what’s the difference between this and the old commissions structure, so here’s the difference:

1. In the old commissions structure back in January 2012, we the pharmacist would only be entitled to earn 50% gross profit from Drugs and OTC, that’s it.

2. In this latest commissions structure (in the table above), Cosway Pharmacists are now entitled to earn commissions from Non-Cosway Health Supplements (15% gross profit), Cosway Health Supplements (5% of total sales), as well as Specific eV sets (5% of total sales), in addition to the commissions from Drugs and OTC (50% gross profit).

The network allocation to pharmacists (ie. half of all new VIP and BO members) still remains the same in this latest commission structure.

Therefore in comparison, this latest commission structure is more favourable towards us pharmacists.

So let’s celebrate! :)

*If there should be any future change to this current commission structure, I will update you guys accordingly… meanwhile, I hope this table helped to clarify any ambiguity regarding the pharmacist or store operator’s part of the earnings respectively… till then!

P/S: For the attention of certain Cosway BOs (You know who you are), I’ve had many instances of you copying my writings and I will not tolerate plagiarism. Please delete whatever you have copied from me immediately. Also, please stop misleading pharmacists and using dirty tactics to recruit pharmacists. Such as signing up the pharmacist and paying the RM100 for them without their consent or knowledge. I’m sure many of you out there are honest and ethical with a good conscience. I truly hope you all will operate ethically in the future.

The Truth Behind Cosway Pharmacy – Advantages and Disadvantages Of Being A Cosway Pharmacist

“Wanna be able to be your own boss and determine your own working hours?”

“Learn how you can generate passive income automatically without you having to do the recruiting yourself!”
You can now be on your way to financial freedom by being a Cosway Pharmacist! Let me elaborate more below…

Dear Fellow Pharmacist,

Hi! I’m a Malaysian pharmacist too and I’ve just quit my job to join as a Cosway Pharmacist.
The reason you’re here may be because you’ve heard about the Cosway Pharmacy launching and you’re interested to find out more about it.

Or

You may be interested to join as a Cosway Pharmacist too, but you’ve heard many negative comments about it and have some doubts about joining. Therefore you’re doing some research first to find out for yourself… This is perfectly normal! You should always do proper research to gain a full understanding before making any major decisions in life. You may have many questions about the pharmacy side of things but don’t know who to ask. Maybe you’ve tried asking some Cosway stockists/BOs but they can’t seem to answer you about the detailed pharmacy-related questions because they are not pharmacists. I know exactly how you feel because I was just like you…

By now you may have already heard something about the Cosway Pharmacy package, most probably from one of the Cosway Stockists/Business Owners (BO). I’m sure there are many ethical and honest BOs out there and I’ve met many nice ones. However along my journey, I’ve also encountered a few that can be quite misleading when explaining the pharmacist guaranteed income scheme and pharmacist working hours. Some BOs even go as far as explaining an inaccurate income guarantee scheme, promising 10am to 5pm working hours, just to get the pharmacist to sign up under them!

I’ve heard of many cases of pharmacists being signed up as BOs without their consent or knowledge. The worst case was a BO forced the pharmacist to buy 1000eV worth of products before allowing the pharmacist to send in the pharmacist application form. This is unethical because the company Cosway (M) Sdn. Bhd. has NEVER forced pharmacists to purchase anything to be eligible to apply as a pharmacist. We as pharmacists are free to choose whether we want to purchase anything or not as it is our own personal choice.

My mission here is to explain the Cosway Pharmacy package with all honesty and accuracy. I’ll truthfully share the advantages and disadvantages based on the pharmacist’s point of view. I’ll also share with you my experience in dealing and negotiating with Cosway on my income guarantee scheme. I am one of the pioneer batch of Cosway Pharmacist and had no other Cosway Pharmacist to turn to for advice or help. Therefore I’d like to offer my experience and advice to my fellow pharmacist friends so they can be guided properly along the way.

I’d like to share with you the benefits of joining as a Cosway Pharmacist:

1. You get a chance to own a FREE Cosway Pharmacy Store (It is not totally free, there are still some costs involved which I can list down for you, and which most BOs wouldn’t tell you!)
2. You have the choice of choosing a location near your house (I’m sure you hate getting stuck in traffic jams as much as I do. Plus you’ll save precious time and petrol. Most importantly, you are near your home and you’ll have more time flexibility)
3. You will get 2 different sources of income, grouped into active or passive income. (Your active income will come from your 50% gross profit, while your passive income will come from your network commissions. I can share with you why this is so important)
4. You will automatically get half of all new Cosway member signups as your downlines, without you doing any recruiting. (We as pharmacists are not allowed to actively recruit members during our working hours as we need to maintain our professionalism, however you can recommend Cosway supplements etc)
5. You don’t have to deal with drug representatives/salespeople, as the pharmacy stock ordering system is centralized. You can monitor your inventory and top-up stocks through your computer system which will be provided free of charge.
6. You don’t need to worry about shoplot rental and downpayment, electricity bills, internet/phone bills, costs of purchasing/maintaining inventory, shop renovation expenses, water bills, cash flow, computer system, CCTV system as all these will be borne by Cosway.
7. You’ll get 50% of gross profits and half of all new member signups. Your income is not capped, there is no limit to your income.
8. You’ll be guaranteed a minimum monthly income of RM5000 and a maximum income of RM8000. The formula of calculation is: (Basic Income + 12% OR 13%) + Other Fix Allowances
9. You will have the freedom to determine your working hours. I agree the official working hours of 10am to 10pm is too long, so I have a solution to that.
10. You will work as a team and be constantly motivated to perform your best because it’s your own business!
Remember, we’ve got nothing to lose! The more pharmacists opening retail pharmacies in Malaysia, the quicker the government is able to implement Dispensing Separation giving us our rightful dispensing rights as qualified pharmacists.

While doing my research before I made my decision to join as a Cosway Pharmacist, I spoke to more than 10 different Cosway BOs. Each of them seem to tell me something different and I got quite frustrated along the way. I do not wish that upon you.

After much research, I’ve finally met a BO husband and wife who I felt was genuine, honest, and down to earth. They are also very active in networking all over Malaysia and overseas and have a great support group with daily and weekly meet-ups plus online support. We hold OPP presentations at my Cosway Pharmacy every Friday night. The group leader is very active with 19 years of experience, and is also one of the top earners in Cosway, with a 6 figure monthly income, endorsed by Mr. Al Chuah himself. In fact he has never worked in employment before because he was already getting a decent network income even while still studying in university 19 years ago. I chose to join this group because I realized that joining an active group with strong support and good connections will be crucial in accelerating my network growth rate. We as a pharmacist have a choice to choose which BO/Group to join, and once we choose, we are “stuck” in that group forever. Therefore my advice is to CHOOSE WISELY before you decide to join any BO/group.
If you are interested to know more and would like to talk to me and my group, we extend our warm welcome to you. You can talk and meet with us with no obligations at all, you may decide to join us to grow & accelerate success together! If you are interested to know more and would like to talk to me and my group, we extend our warm welcome to you. You can talk and meet with us with no obligations at all, you may decide to join us to grow & accelerate success together! We’ve also formed a pharmacist alliance group to support and help each other and also to voice out any concerns about our pharmacist rights.

We will explain the whole plan and concept to you in detail and answer all questions you may have (I’m sure you’ll have lots of questions because I did too when I first joined). Plus I’d be more than happy to share my personal experience as a Cosway pharmacist and give you advice in going through the process of opening the eCosway Pharmacy store. (I’ll share with you some insider secrets that will benefit you later on that most Cosway business owners won’t tell you). I’ll also share with you with all honesty, the pros and cons of joining as a Cosway pharmacist.

Find Out How You Can Also Own A Free Cosway Pharmacy Store Anywhere in Malaysia with Minimal Investment too!

pharmacy jobs for malaysian pharmacistsSick and tired of having a boss telling you what to do? and monitoring your every move?
Sick of having to ask permission/time off to go out for personal errands?
Sick of being told “No, you can’t take leave, we’re too busy”?

Wanna be your own boss instead?

You’ve come to the right place!

I’m a Malaysian pharmacist too and I’ve just quit my job and joined as a Cosway Pharmacist. Honestly speaking, where else can we own our own Pharmacy with no money down but still enjoy a 50% profit sharing scheme? On top of that, we’ll also enjoy a guaranteed monthly income scheme? Plus, we’ll be given many free downlines without us doing any recruiting! We can even choose an outlet near our house!

Sounds too good to be true right? But it is!

If you are a Malaysian registered pharmacist (and pass the Cosway interview selection process), you can choose to open your free eCosway pharmacy almost anywhere in Malaysia (tip: choose somewhere near your house), and you don’t need to pay any franchising fee, down payment, shoplot rental, renovation fees, electricity bills, drug stocks, inventory, IT system and support etc. But you’ll still enjoy 50% of the gross profits from drugs and OTC sales. You don’t even have to source for products as all inventory is centrally purchased by the Cosway headquarters and you just click your order on the system that they’ll provide you, and they’ll deliver it right to your shop every week! So senang right? You can even click “re-order this week’s sales” as a shortcut. You no longer have to worry about the cash flow and negotiating prices with the sales reps etc. The whole ordering system is centralized. No retail experience is necessary because full training is provided. (If you already own an independent pharmacy, it’s even better. You can choose to convert your independent pharmacy into a Cosway Pharmacy (Need to apply for Cosway to survey your store), and own the whole Cosway store + Pharmacy store. Cosway will pay the monthly rentals, electricity, stocks & inventory, aircond maintenance fee, lightbulbs etc. Cosway will also pay you a Goodwill fee for you to convert. For more information, feel free to drop me an email at [email protected] )

The best part of this partnership with Cosway is: you’ll be getting half of all new Cosway members at your store as your downlines automatically. This means you don’t need to recruit them, but they will be signed up as your downlines and therefore you’ll be earning network profits as well (from your network of downlines). The whole reason you’ll wanna join as a Cosway Pharmacist is to build up your network like this, and therefore build up your passive income stream. When your network grows over time, you will get more passive income over the years.

As a Cosway Pharmacist, you’ll be getting 2 types of income. Active and Passive. The active part comes from your 50% gross profit of drugs and OTC. The passive part comes from your network (half of all new members will be assigned to you as your downlines in your network). The active income (50% gross profit) will stop once you stop working actively as a cosway pharmacist after you quit. But, your passive network income will continue as long as you continue to be a Cosway member. The guaranteed income scheme only kicks in if your active +passive income for that month falls below the guaranteed amount. If it’s more than the guaranteed amount, you are entitled to take the whole amount you’ve earned that month. Look at it this way, at your previous job, maybe you’re getting RM6000 per month, that is the maximum you’ll get per month. But as a Cosway pharmacist, RM6000 is the minimum you’ll get per month! There is no limit to your earnings as it is not capped. So the more your 50% gross profit, or the more your network income, the better for you!

*Latest update (awaiting finalized guidelines to be published by Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia)… Every year, Cosway HQ will allocate 2 Pre-Registered Pharmacists (PRP) to each Cosway Pharmacy store to work under the Fully Registered Pharmacist (FRP) for a period of 1 year. The PRPs will be paid for by Cosway HQ, not by the FRP. This also means we as FRPs will get 2 free pharmacist assistants, making a total of 3 pharmacists per Cosway Pharmacy. Working hours will therefore be much more flexible! These 2 PRPs will also be given to the FRP as downlines. Upon completion and passing their PRP year, these 2 PRPs will then be entitled to open their own Cosway Pharmacy Store (the whole store, provided they qualify by getting sales of e$1000 in that 1st year). If they do not qualify, they can still own the pharmacy section of a new Cosway Pharmacy Store but not the whole store. Whichever way, they will also be getting 2 PRPs each every year, who will also be signed up as their downlines. It’s a cycle…..Therefore, year to year, our network will be growing exponentially! And this is the minimum you will get, I’m sure along the way you will also recommend your friends to join as a Cosway Pharmacist too!

Honestly, this network profit is the most valuable & my favourite part of the partnership Cosway is offering pharmacists, because you get to keep your network profits forever (yes, even after you’ve decided you don’t wanna work as a Cosway pharmacist anymore). You can even pass this on to your children in the future (this can be their education insurance, I’ll teach you how). This network profit will be your source of passive income and over time, you may find that your passive income from your network profit may far surpass your active income working as a pharmacist. You might then think “Why am I still working full time as a pharmacist? Might as well go travel the world or be a full time stay at home mum” It’s totally up to you how you wanna live your life, the important thing is, you are leveraging on other people to generate a stable income for you passively and this is so important if you wanna be financially free and live your life doing the things you love.

I’m a Malaysian pharmacist too and I’ve just quit my job and joined as a Cosway Pharmacist. I’ll be opening my eCosway Pharmacy five minutes away from my house end of next month and I’m so excited about all the free downlines I’ll be getting! You have no idea! I am passionate about generating multiple sources of passive income because I love being financially free and being able to do the things I love versus having to work for someone for the rest of my life just because I need the money to pay my bills and feed my family (I don’t want to be exchanging my time for money for the rest of my life). I wanna spend more time with my family and the people I love instead of spending most of my time at work.

If you feel the same as I do, and wanna know more about the Cosway Pharmacist partnership and how you can be part of it too (you must be a Malaysian registered pharmacist to qualify though), please feel free to send me an email at [email protected] (You can also send in your resume here, I’ll send you the application form to fill up and I’ll submit it to Cosway headquarters for you)

You’ve got nothing to lose! The more pharmacists opening retail pharmacies in Malaysia, the quicker the government is able to implement Dispensing Separation giving us our rightful dispensing rights. Cosway is bearing all the risk for us as they are the ones investing all the money into opening the pharmacy store. They are even guaranteeing our monthly income to make sure we won’t earn less than what we are previously earning. If we were to open an independent pharmacy on our own, we would have to absorb any losses every month (if any). No one else will guarantee our income and give us 50% profit sharing plus build our network for us.

I can explain the whole scheme and concept to you in detail and answer any questions you may have (I’m sure you’ll have lots of questions because I did too when I first joined). Plus I’d be more than happy to share my personal experience and advice in going through the process of opening the eCosway Pharmacy store. (I’ll share with you some insider secrets that will benefit you later on that most Cosway business owners won’t tell you). I’ll share with you with all honesty, the pros and cons of joining as a Cosway pharmacist. The con being the long official opening hours of 6 days a week, 12 hours per day (however, I have a solution to that and you don’t actually need to stay in your shop that long! Enjoy your life!)

Let me explain it to you with no obligations at all on your part, just listen with an open mind and decide for yourself whether you want to be part of the Cosway Pharmacy family. Let me explain how if you stick to your current job which only pays you an active income, 2 years down the road if you decide to resign and not work actively as a pharmacist, your following month’s income will be RM0. On the other hand, if you were to work 2 years actively as a Cosway Pharmacist, if you decide to quit as a pharmacist 2 years later, you will still get paid monthly from your passive network income (you will no longer get the active 50% gross profit income). That’s the beauty of passive income, I love it!

P/S: If you’d like to know more and if you haven’t gotten a copy of the Cosway Pharmacy Slides and Cosway Pharmacist Application Form yet, just send me an email at [email protected]. I can also help submit your application form for you.

I’ll be looking forward to your email…take care and have a nice day!

2 PRP Pharmacists to Be Allocated to Each FRP Pharmacist in Every Cosway Pharmacy

Even better news to share!

Latest update on Cosway Pharmacy (Awaiting finalised guidelines from Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia):

Every year, each registered Cosway pharmacist will be allocated 2 Pre-reg pharmacist (PRP) for a period of 1 year. The 2 PRPs will also be automatically signed as our downlines (means we will have 2 confirmed downlines) and we have 2 free assistants! Cosway will pay their salary, we don’t have to pay them anything.

Therefore there will be a total of 3 pharmacists per Cosway Pharmacy. Working hours will therefore be very flexible. Also, upon completion of the 1 year PRP, these PRPs will be entitled to open their own cosway pharmacy (provided they pass). And they will also be getting 2 PRPs each. Upon them leaving our shop, we will also get another 2 PRPs for the 2nd year.

It’s a cycle! Every year we will automatically get 2 new pharmacist downlines who will go on to own their own pharmacy store. Therefore our network income will grow exponentially! Because of this, it is actually not hard to get a monthly income of RM20k (or much more) from your 2nd and 3rd year onwards.

Once this PRP program embarks on its 2nd year, outside pharmacists will no longer be given priority to own a cosway pharmacy, as only cosway PRPs will be given consideration because they have trained for 1 year in a cosway pharmacy and know the POS computer system, products, network inside out.

Therefore if you’re interested to join as a Cosway Pharmacist, this is the time!

If you’d like to know more about this, I can email you the powerpoint slides. Kindly send an email to [email protected] to request for the slides.

(eg. If monthly total sales of Cosway Health Supplements is RM60k, pharmacist will get 5% of RM60k = RM3000)

(eg. If monthly total sales of these products on the left are RM40k, pharmacist will get 5% of RM40k = RM2000)

5% of total store sales

You Don’t Have To Be A Pharmacist To Operate A FREE Cosway Farmasi Store in Malaysia

Dear All,

Thank you for all the enquiries regarding the recently launched Free Cosway Pharmacy Concept in Malaysia.

As you may have already noticed, there are many new Cosway Pharmacies sprouting out in your neighbourhood.

There are actually two people managing a Cosway Farmasi Store, namely the Registered Pharmacist, and the Pharmacy Store Operator. Both will have different and specific roles in the operation of the Cosway Pharmacy Store:

1. The Pharmacist is in charge of all the Drugs (Prescription Medicines) and OTC (Over The Counter) products, and also the pharmaceutical related products such as blood glucose monitors, plasters, walking sticks etc. Application requirements for a Cosway Pharmacist is you have to be a Malaysian Citizen, have a Degree in Pharmacy, and you are a registered pharmacist under Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia.

2. The Pharmacy Store Operator/Stockist will be in charge of all Cosway Products, Country Farm Organics Products, and Non-Cosway Products such as health supplements (Kordel’s, Blackmores etc) and Non-Cosway hair and beauty products. There are no educational requirements to apply as a Cosway Pharmacy Store Operator. Applications are opened to anyone who is highly motivated, friendly, love sales, and who wants to be a co-owner of a Cosway Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Store Operator’s income will also be based on a profit sharing scheme. The best part is, you will also be able to use this pharmacy store as a platform to build up your passive network income for your future.

If you’re interested to open a franchise business in Malaysia, but am put off by the often exorbitant franchising fees, this Cosway Free Store concept would appeal highly to you. You don’t need to worry about how many years before you’ll break even or worry about the risk often associated with investing a large sum of money in a physical retail pharmacy store.
